My Intentions.
Through my target audience research I have found the audience that I will be focusing on is teenagers from the age of 13-18 which listen to the genre of music that the audience listen to which is rock and screamo.
Therefore I plan to meet the following conventions by going to gigs to take photos to place throughout my magazine and use a close friend that is a member of a band to use on my front cover as the main interaction.

Q Magazine.

Language.
The language used on this particular magazine is quite formal which suits the target audience which is a mature and older teenager and the young adults.
Direct Address.
The main subject on this front page is a a member of a band and he is pointing and looking at the reader to draw them in to create a interaction with the audience. There is also a direct address to the audience with the side picture. The side picture consisting of U2 all the ban members are looking are looking at the audience.
Dennotation & Connotation.
The fact that there is a heading saying "100 ways to get FREE music" this creates a sense of excitement and happiness with the audience because the word free is a very exciting and good word to draw people in to buy the magazine.
Sell Lines.
The word free appears on the magazine and the word free is well accpeted and a very good way to draw people in. The headline telling people about the killers draw the readers in because the killers are a very commercial and well known and liked by the public that listen to this music and read these magazines.
Anchorage Text.
The anchorage text on the front of the magazine is The Killers and U2 which draws the audience i because they know the bands through previous issues.
Masthead.
The masthead in this particular magazine is very plain and boring which links to the bands featured in the magazine they are quite old and not that well listened to but still well known to this day such as the band U2.

Paramore Magazine Cover.

Language.
The language used on the front of the magazine is very legable to the target audience they use words to describe positive things in the issue such as "Loud" this describes it as being good and big.
Direct Address.
The audience is addressed by the lead singer from Paramore named Haley Williams. Her body language is aggressive and rude but it fits in with the way the target audience would act. She is a huge attraction for males which makes them want to read on.
Dennotation & Connotation.
The word "Loud" is written in red and capital letters whihc indicates its a big word trying to shout and stand out.
Sell Lines.
The fact that there is a story on the cover saying "DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS" creates a sense of excitement for the reader and confusion which makes the reader want to read on creating more sales.
Anchorage Text.
The anchorage text on the cover of this magazine is PARAMORE followed by pop punks brightest young rebels which is layered on top of a picture from of the lead singer from the band Paramore creating a familiarity with the audience.
Masthead.
The mast head on the cover is in its usual place but is covered by the main image of Hayley Williams.The font ised looks very used and ruined and lazy which is a stereotype of the teenagers of today which is the magazines target audience.
Buzz Words.
The buzz word on the front cover of the Kerrang magazine is FREE just like most of the other magazines on the market this is because free attracts all types of people because they are getting something for nothing which is good.

Language.The language used in the NME magazine is very informal because the target audience is teenagers.
